dude. its a filler. its not in the manga. if it didn't happen in the manga its a filler. i am aware that animes do change a few things but they never add a arc that contributes to the significanty story. that arc didn't contribute much to the main story except for that last episode where naruto leaves

the last arc was kinda like a mix. it didnt exactly go along with the story but it did at the very end so it was kinda like a filler that moved the story along
