It is ichigo,when he gets the half mask it's called HOLLOWFICATION
No KTIGZ (the one who originaly started this about the guy with the half mask) said he just started watching bleach. (not sure how many episodes he means by that) But "hollow Ichigo doesn't really come into the show untill episode 50 somthing. And unless he's talking about when Ichigo is training to go rescue rukia and almost turns into a hollow, than It's not Ichigo. And I doubt he's talking about that cause their is no indication early on that

Ichigo will eventuall be able to fight as a hollow. So I would not consider hollow Ichigo to be considered a charcter especially this early in the series.
Again Im just going by KTIGZ saying he's not relly far in the show yet so I doubt he's at the episode where

The only other person I can think of that he might be talking about is Oriheme Inoue's brother as a hollow or just some random hollow.

Nope. Since Light does not have the shinigami eyes he will not be able to find out his opponents name. Even if he did basicly and main character from any anime could kill him before He has the chance to write their name in the death note.
If you want a charcter from Death note it would have to be Ryuk or rem or any other shinigami cause they cant be killed unless they kill someone to protect some1 else.
