higurashi no naku koro ni, is an awesome japanese anime thats in english, or at least will be. Only about halfway through the season one and am liking it a lot

Anime - Oh dear the plots diffrent, where was the promissed epic sword fight with mid boss, Why was it Flonne that woke up Laharl and not Etna (its the way its done) well at least the last few eps where good
Higurashi no naku koro ni was a video game first but turned out pretty well...although i've never played any of the games..
