I just finished Neon Genesis Evangelion and The End of Evangelion. Not bad, but it could have done without the ill-fitting wacky moments in the first half of the series and Hideaki Anno's drug trips in the second half. The last two episodes almost bored me to tears, which I wouldn't have minded so much if the second half of EoE wasn't equally as crap.

I wouldn't know. There's some really good English dubs out there, as there are with Japanese dubs. I've come across a few very poor Japanese dub Animes as with English dubs. I guess some of the actors just aren't that great, especially when they're not very experienced (like say a voice-actor who's done work in the classic Disney films). But, I wouldn't generalize all English Dubs as bad, as that would be moronic.

I've seen some pretty good English dubs (e.g. Haruhi Suzumiya, Cowboy Bebop) and some pretty terrible ones too (Elfen Lied, Gantz), so I won't generalise them. I should point out though, I watch the vast majority of my anime subbed, and will often go with the subbed option when given the choice.
Oh yes, I've started Seirei no Moribito.

Finished WITCHBLADE, and really enjoyed it. FUNimation did a very nice job on the dubbing, and should give themselves a pat on the back for that one. The first 1/3 of the show is very well played out, with some great action scenes and character scenarios.. it then gets really slow in the 2/3 area, and then picks itself up in the final half of the show, for a climactic finish. It can get really emotional near the end if you allow yourself to get pulled into it. Some of the characters are really well done, especially the little girl Riko.
There's some poor attention to detail however.. such as the fact that the characters wear the same clothes every single day, unless it's some special occasion or they're going to bed (in which case, they'll wear pajamas). It wouldn't be much of a problem, if these characters weren't getting high/very good incomes.. the main character who eventually gets rich, wears the same yellow t-shirt, black bra, and blue jeans in almost every episode, and every time she heads off to work ... just alittle annoyance, but not a big deal.
If I had to rate it, I'd throw it an 8/10.
I'm going to follow this anime up with the list I showed before, but also throw in Gunslinger Girl and Virus.
