Lucky Star starts out dull, but gets better about halfway through the series. Worth a watch, I think.
Quick question to a Japanese speaker: how does an adult male usually refer to himself? I get the feeling 'boku' sounds a bit too 'boyish'.

The title is Life, which is written in Japanese as ライフ. Written in our Roman alphabet, this is 'raifu' because that's the closest the Japanese language allows to the English word. The use of katakana usually implies the word isn't Japanese/Chinese in origin.

u can say boku if u want but if u want to say it in a non polite way u can say "ore"
so i say "ore no namae wa kento" as in my name is kento
if ur an old man u can say watashi and u wont be considered as a woman
