is there one?

there's an episode (#4 or 5?? 6?? hell i dont remember) where he says "i dont remember what happened" or something. before that point he doesnt remember much. just childhood memories. he suposedly destroyed a entire city himself. i want to know what happened before the "trigun" tv series.

i started watching it. Cartoon Network pulled it as i got into it (such my luck).
anybody else like this short lived show?
