For anime endings, I have to at least give a shoutout to Neon Genesis Evangelion as one of the worst and best endings in anime as a genre. It is so completely on crack, and messes with your mind so utterly, that a thread discussing series enders that doesn't at least mention Eva is incomplete.

Anyone else wander around for like a week after watching it, thinking "Oh my god, my brain"?

Dragonball has a contiueation called Dragonball z has one called Dragonball GT and that has a rather dull ending

I thought Naruto had a few cool endings.
The first season is probably the best.
(While i'm talking about it, some of the openings were pretty cool too!)

Kind of not what the thread's about -- and trolling in forums is lame. Wanna say why you don't like something, that's one thing, but random '_____ series lots of people like actually sucks' flybys aren't really good for anything but starting a flame war.

What your kidding. For me it was of the best endings iv seen. I wish we could back to the days when anime actually did end, now look Naruto never ever looks like finishing, same with Bleach.

Kinda have to agree. I have no interest in these anime that go one for season after season after season, particularly when there's no specific arc that changes throughout. Give me a quick and dirty one-season delicious story over 8 seasons of "wtf?" any day. (Not to say multiple-season things are bad -- but you sort of have to get in on the beginning or it's just eh.)

I wished for Hukoto no ken to have a good end
I wanted to see the death of Ken (and thus the end of Hukoto shin ken)
But no
He rides off into the sunset on a horse thinkin about his past battles

On the other hand the films have good endins
Cowboy bebop had a open close endin
What ever did happen to Jet and Faye faye
Your forgetin One piece
But who cares One piece actuly has some good storys goin for it
