I would say cowboy bebop was one of the best anime endings

Minami ke - They kinda gave us what we want
Shigurui - Very bloody
Excel Saga - possable other title "lets **** every thing up"
Card capter Sakura - Ok so the secound film was the end of it all
Kenshins was a bit of a let down due to the way he died (the manga was better)
Still waitin for Kenshin gaiden that will explan in more detail what happens to every one

Well it is true that most animes endins
I was kinda pissed at the Hokoto no ken endin
Ridein off into the sunset

I wanted to see him die (in a none violent way)
But what is worse is open endings
EG
Historys strongest disiple Kenichi (the manga continues afther the end)
Bobobo bo bobo (See above)
Elfin lied (Whos that at the door ?)
Grappler Baki (wheres the last fight ?)
And endins you can see comein are annoyin as well
Umisho (she kissis him)
Orain high school host club (We kinda know there gonna get togeather)
Additional to the list
Kasimasi - the damn ova changed the endin and she gose with the other girl (in a PG way sadly)

It's in Samurai X - Reflection. Not the series, but the OVA. Personally, I liked that ending, though it was definitely sad...
Anyways, my favorite anime endings would have to be...
*Monster
-At first, the ending just left me blank, and I was slightly disappointed. The more I thought about it, though, the better it seemed.
*Death Note
-I've heard that the manga ended differently, but I liked the way they wrapped things up.
Hmmm...I can't think of any more at the moment. I've been playing too many games lately, and haven't had the time to watch much anime...:P
