I'm not going to go over this again, but let me assure you I have reasons why Ridley ISN'T too big.
As for moves, fireballs, claw attacks, flight, and bite/ plasma beam attacks sound good.

I hate reading threads like these because it shows me just how little WiiChat members appreciate Nintendo and their contributions to video gaming. Smash Bros is about bringing together the Nintendo classics and reliving gaming's amazing history. As a result, any characters that make it into a Smash game should have a strong relationship with Nintendo's past.
GigaRidley - I love Ridley as much as the next Metroid fan. However, it's not about his size that makes him a poor selectable character, it's the fact that he has no story. We know he's one of the leaders of the Space Pirates who was responsible for the death of Samus' parents, but aside from that, we don't quite know his motivation or his true intentions. He appears, gets shot at, and then flies away. When it comes to villains, Dedede and Bowser work because they have personality traits and character evolution. Because of this, they have been known to fight with the good guys every now and then. Ganondorf works because we know his intentions and we really get a good picture of his thoughts and motivations.
That being said, there isn't a single character that would make Brawl perfect.. Here are some of my picks:
First Party:
- King K. Rool (Donkey Kong series)
- Dixie Kong paired with Diddy (Donkey Kong series)
- Captain Maple Syrup (Wario series)
- Isaac (Golden Sun series)
- Little Mac (Punch Out series)
Third Party (major characters that had their start on a Nintendo console):
- Simon Belmont (Castlevania series) - Konami
- Mega Man (Mega Man series) - Capcom
- Battletoads (Battletoads series) - Rare

Why would you hate this thread? This thread is just for fun and imagination. And should we really appreciate Nintendo as much as you think we should? Not for me. The Wii's variety of games is very poor. Not because of the amount, but the quality.

nintendo has always in my opinion had great games although the bulk of what they push out for the wii is junk. its a fact that can't be ignored
the whole reason i got a wii was for zelda, smash, and mario. yeah theres others but that was my reason and now that i have them i'm saving up for a ps3. i still like nintendo, they just need to start having quality in every game not just the few greats
