Begin with the balanced ones, like Mario and Pikachu.

Hm... Ike or Samus. Gives me a mix of direct/indirect combat.

Thanks! I wish I knew someone who was getting this so I could play and be taught by them. Or would I be better going through the tutorials and single player and learn at my own pace.?

Fox was my main in Melee aswell. But I haven't tried all the secret characters yet. The first new guy I tried was Pit. Not my favorite but he's not bad.

The first character I played with was Lucas, then Pit.

Right now though, i'm stuck on Sheik...So far vs my friends, siblings, CPU

Im 3-2 with Lucas, 1-1 with Pit, and 4-0 with Sheik...So im sticking with Sheik for now

Link and Captain Falcon were my all time favs in Melee, so i'll go back to them once I feel really comfortable with Sheik.

Really, I beleive no1 can say whos their main exept X Flaco/FOx/Marth users.
I was pro with luigi, but without wavedashing well...poor luigi. I still don't know whos my main..but im favoring sonic =)
