Snake's Codec Conundrum

How do you get Snake to call his comrads in the Shadow Moses level? I tried but cannot make him crouch like in many of the youtube vidoes....can anyone please explain in detail on how I can make him crouch? Also, can I do it in VS or do I have to do it on training or solo? Thanks!

I have found out how.

Be Snake, in Shadow Moses, and use the WII controller and tap the A and B together. What I do before the match starts, I hold it down, then release when the match starts, I let go. It might take a couple of tries, but you have to get it in sync. From what I can take you can only do it once every match, but I am not too sure on it.
