Game and Watch is actually not that great, he's just fast and has high priority. Anyway, brawl doesn't have any true "cheap" characters due to the new weakening of spammed moves.
I actualy can't recall having met any pikachus online yet. Lots of Marths though.....
It seems to me that in Brawl when people start talking about cheap Characters it often revolves around whether they think a FSA is overpowered or not. at least that's been my experience....

FSs are the cheapest things in the game for some chars. i mean ganons fs isnt easy to get away from but comparing it to someone who gets to spin around the screen or summon a tank? real matches are played without FSAs.
on a side note luckily the tank does get stuck on some maps so it isnt the best FS to go with probably the best tier chars.

To me the CHEAPEST characther is sonic. He's super fast and u can avoide his final smash. I feel like olimar's final smash is cheap too. u can avoide all final smashs in some way, but not olimar's
You can easily avoid Luigi's and Jigglypuff's final smashes as well.

Sonic is fast, but he lacks a strong move and has to weaken his opponents down a lot.

what is cheap about being able to dodge someone's final smash? (SONIC)
neways game and watch is acutally pretty good
and about spamming moves, those people are obviously noobs you can get out of it and give them a nice knock really easily.. quick side shield step and hit them in the back.

it can be held forever but it only holds oyu in it if you dont DI or DI into it. just hold the control stick away and you'll be out with no more than maybe 4 damage.

i actually like G&W a lot. his turtle got a big buff from melee and n air is less powerful than the parachute but more spamable. plus he can tower now so even better.
Pit is relatively cheap. The arrows, and his B → move is gay. But it's not the moves that are cheap, it's how people play.
All items and no melee, constantly bailing out, constantly rolling and dodging, and spamming one particular move is cheap.
Moves = not cheap.
Unoriginal consistency = cheap.
I agree with you for the most part
move spamming is cheap and annoying
a skilled brawler makes the most out of all their char's moves ya digg....
but dodging and rolling is not really cheap, u still ain't safe from a quick grab; plus, you're left vulnerable for a brief moment after each....
only a lame would call it cheap becuase they can't catch'em...lol
