About pit: Again, he doesn't need his UpB. His UpB is only useful when dodging something like Lucario's final smash. He has enough recovery. Actually, his recovery is past bullshit at this point. Why does he need 3 (or more) midair jumps, the ability to glide, plus free-flying for like 5 seconds? It's not necessary.

Because they wanted him to be even more cheap than he already was? The second best recovery, to me anyway, is Meta Knights. Multiple jumps plus an up b that allows both vertical and horizontal recovery? Pretty damned good I say.

Metaknight is the same deal, except he usually wants to use any of his B-Recoveries (All of them) to make it back to the stage. But again, he can just jump, glide under the stage (or over), attack out of it, jump 4 more times, and still use a recovery move.

I agree Yoshi is underrated. His egg toss was way better in Melee though.

^ his tilts are better now and make up for it. For the most part he's been buffed, and he was already great in melee.

Yoshi is simply one of those weird characters like jigglypuff and wario that you have to know how to use or you'll do extremely poorly.
btw, random comment to mushroomed mario: your main characters have similar syllables...LUCas, LUC-ARIO, MARIO, oliMAR. Was that intentional?(yea, you can see I was bored)

When the dojo was announcing characters, the ones I was most interested in were the ones with the tether recoveries, especially ZSS. Kinda changed when you get the game though, since you can be edge hogged and all.

Reasoning please? Don't just say it, give logical reasoning to support your claim.

Pros:
-It's freaking Snake.
-His crawl is the best in the game and is extremely useful, defensively and offensively. His d-tilt can kill.
-Grenades are very useful.
-Nikita is powerful and useful.
-C4 is useful to avoid being juggled, as well as for a trap. Short horizontal range, but powerful.
-Claymore fully charged is a nice 20% damage and is easy to combo an opponent into.
-Up smash has great -> amazing range
-Side smash is incredibly powerful.
-All tilts are finishers at high percents, and are extremely powerful (They're as powerful as other character's smash attacks).
-Is great at clearing out with F-Tilt, Neutral A Combo, Explosives, etc.
-Has a very strong dash attack that doesn't leave him vulnerable if he misses.
-Great recovery if used properly, and also gives super armor frames.
-Bair is the strongest sex kick in the game, and has great duration. When used with his low jump, it makes a great approach option. It's also great for juggling enemies horizontally off the screen, as well as intercepting recoveries. A very very solid move.
-Uair is another extremely strong sex kick, but it doesn't have as much duration as Snake's bair. This will get you star KOs.
-Nair is mildly useful, but it is a quick kick forward which is great for interrupting aerial combos, and if you catch the opponent in all you | |
