I think
Top tier - Meta, Snake, Marth
High Tier -DDD, G&W, Wolf, Olimar, maybe toon link.
Mid tier- Mostly everyone else.....The game is still very young certain people are going to get better. But I kno those that I have listed will maintain the place.

^ agreed nice post. i'd put IC in high tier also though and move marth down to high.

every single major tourney has been won by a meta or snake. no exceptions

and i'd also create a bottom tier with Luigi, yoshi, DK... please don't challenge the latter two. i main them both. i've experienced first hand their weaknesses

DSF's Olimar almost beat Gimpy's metaknight lol, Very close but ya, i think that their are going to more tournments where other characters win

^ oh ya without question. but at the moment the game hasn't evolved enough yet. tier lists take a full year to become reliable anyways so this is all just speculation

DSF is definately one of the best, if not the best player out there right now. His Snake owns everybody.

To spiff= I would leave Marth in Top tier and put T.Link as Top tier also.

you think so? i dunno. marth's recovery is too limited IMO. though he is a beast. and toon link is awesome.. but AS awesome as meta?

I agree DSF is one of the best. His Snake murders everything in its way. And the thing is thats just lately. his best Character is Marth. He just hates ditto's so when ever he is in a tourny with someone like Bardul he tends to go with Snake.

Ya, Bardull is also an awesome player. His Marth is really good. I already played both of them, and they owned me without a problem. Especially DSF, I couldnt even touch his Snake.

Yeah I lost to Bardul on Gamebattles but I beat his 2v2 partner mekos who mains Lucas. who by the way I would say could be high tier if used correctly, same with my second main Wario I also think he could be high tier. anyone Agree?

aaah lucas. that depends on how many chain grabs they deem infinite enough to ban in tourneys. Lucas and Ness have an animation that allows them to be chain grabbed by nearly every character, easier than any other character. this could make them unusable in tourney play. but then again grabbing isn't everything. Chu didn't win the tourney he discovered the wobble for before it was banned

True your right. but have you seen that kid omg. Plus remember this game is more about your approach, reactions, and mindgames. If u can predict what the person your playing is gonna do next its pretty much over. Combine that with skill and thats what i consider a pro. Someone like Cort, DSF, Bardul, Lucky and lucky uses sonic and he beats the so-called high and top tier. never forget the game is still young. Lucas will push his way up I promise you. but check this kid out search SSBB Mekos on youtube.

you just described melee haha brawl is more limited in your options of approaches than melee was... please don't try and argue this point... too much typing if you do lol this in effect lowers your ability to mind game. brawl is a game about spacing and DI. much like 64. but your right the game is very young. too young even for a proper tier list. it needs a full year. its always fun to hypothesize though.

and yes he's amazing i've seen his combo vids before but note that combo vids don't mean he wins all those matches. check the stock levels on some. in some cases he's getting owned lol just happens to have a good combo in the game. and yes they do beat them... but so far the only characters to win a major brawl tourney are meta and snake... so until this is changed.. i must stick with them as my top tier

and in an attempt to get back on topic. anyone have any thoughts on the new fox?

I thought we were on Meta Knight? Oh well, we can discuss him later then.

First thing that comes to mind. Nowhere near as good as the last version. NOWHERE NEAR. Don't get me wrong, he can still be Middle or High tier, but nowhere near as good as in Melee.
