And in response to Prince's post:

All was too strong a word. A very large percentage of characters can come back to the stage from being hit to the very boundaries.

Wolf has a good recovery when he's smashed sideways, his sideB isn't hard to judge, it's only when he's forced to use his UpB that he has trouble recovering.

Olimar has a crap recovery to balance him because he has insane offense and defense.

Ganondorf's recovery isn't horrible, but it's not quite as good as Captain Falcon's (whose recovery is monstrous, and don't argue this with me, I'll send you a captain falcon vid if you want. Actually it's quite cool if you want the demo thing.)

All characters who rely on tether have punishable recoveries, but for the most part it usually works out decent.

Captain Falcon's recovery is insane, are you kidding me? In battlefield, when I do my aerial falcon punches as ledge guards, I can recover with my upB from not even being visible on the map because I'm so low.

Ike has a GREAT short distance recovery with aether, so to balance his heavy weight and that fact they gave him a neglible long distance recovery.

That was off-topic, but this is talking about tier lists and how good characters are, so it is on topic if you think about it.

cf has good recovery because his falcon dive and raptor boost sweetspot ledges. if they are even few inche away frfom ledges, hey cn grab it. that means i can grab them, throuw them down the stage, knee them and get back on stage.

.... i agree with parts... but i have some issues with this... no offense to you or anything i just dont agree with some.

Down B is spammable, but laggy, and just as punishable as it is spammable. the only reason its useful in most cases (barring edge guard) is because people have a tendency to fall straight on top of the opponent when hit up... dont, and you wont be hit.

Neutral B is situationally better than IC yes, if platforms are involved. but if you can desynch your IC then the ice cubes are faster and more rapid, dealing more damage and having the potential to freeze the opponent.

F smash... isn't that quick. its slower than Marth's F smash, CF's, and possibly even Yoshi's i believe which are all medium quickness F smashes. but the move does have decent range, a disjointed hit box, and fair power. and by underpowered i meant it doesn't send people far enough, given its start up lag.

D smash wont pull you in if you DI out. but it is by far Pikachu's best move and the best D smash in the game.

and... strongest N air?... i think you must mean most useful... cuz it sends people nowhere lol its a combo move... a good one... but no better than Meta's disgustingly good one, and IMO i'd take a sex kick over Pika's n air any day... but that last parts just me... not fact. anywho thats my two cents.

After ROB, can we talk about Bowser?

Rob: Annoying, powerful, and quick all at the same time. Also has a crazy recovery.

He's annoying in the fact that half his moves are super quick, and half his moves are super strong, and he;'s got good range and two great projectiles.

R.O.B is definatly High or Top because he is the only match up that gives Snake a really hard time. Some people secondary R.O.B just to handle Snakes O.o. But ya Great recovery, Projectiles, Very Very good Air Game, can chase R.O.B has Top tier all over him!

I agree on almost everything you guys are saying except projectiles. Sure, they are strong, the the recharge for the laser is bad, and you can' use the top until the top you used before is gone. The recharge on the projectiles is what kills his game, because they are easy to dodge and ROB can't use them for like 5 seconds afterwards.

His lazer is like why he owns... Do you live in a cave??

R.O.B.'s laser is the thing that blows up things that other people are holding from a distance. It is what makes him so hard to play against when your snake. You cannot use a grenade becuase R.O.B will blow it up making you damage yourself. Also the laser pwns Link and Toon Link's bombs amoung other items.

Just because it isn't as effective as you say doesn't mean you have to be a douche about it.

Seriously, dodge=bye bye laser for a period of time. It isn't to hard to do.

^ its only that easy if your playing someone predictable. you can be lured into a laser and if your in the cool down time of a move you'll get owned with it every time

Laser has KO potential at high percentages. (Very high percentages... that's how I unlocked Wolf. Started matches with Pit at 300% and lasered right away, one stock, repeat.)

His disc thing is even better.

His laser is good but i seldom waitlong enough to charge it. The disc is a much safer bet. The only situation i prefer the lazr is when I can get a free shot at the start of a flat map. His recovery is very easy to use and it has great range R.O.B. is easily high tier maybe even top.

ROB= high mid to top teir
i personally hate him but don't deny his ability to screw with projectiles items and the fact that if u have a final smash his uair knocks it out instantly
his final smash is unfair cause rob can still do his other moves and its powerful and longlasting
the laser at full is deadly as an attack but not full only as a projectile killer
the top is useful cause powerful, fast, can be reused till gone, and if its just sitting their opponents cant touch it without grabbing it which is harder than it looks as well when used by someone other than the rob who made it i've noticed it does crap for them
so rob for high mid to top teir

Yes some people are good with bowser but no excuse, He is low tier forever! Even with bowerside.

Now thats not fair, bowser was complete garbage in Melee but hes much better in brawl. Not only does he have the improved side special, but now that you can aim his flame breath its better for edgeguarding. he IMO is Upper-Mid tier.
