Yeah that tier list makes no sense G&W and Zelda belong higher up. Also just cause main rob doesn't make him top tier, rob is upper mid or (more likely) high.

Idk what spiff meant, but knowing him he probably found out some meteor smash no one else has discovered. Spiff knows all about smash.
haha thanks for the compliments everyone. his D air can meteor smash if its sweet spotted. i believe this happens at the tip of the sword... don't quote me on this though i don't know for certain but its happened to me before.
haha and this poor ROB guys taking some serious slack for his tier list he posted. i'd flame him as well... because its terribly off. but i know he's just making a list of favorites, not really a tier list... as is illustrated by the following:

no need to flame he's just a casual gamer with an altered perspective on the definition of a tier list.

yes its stupidly long lol but easy to spike him out of it and it has some down time on the ground where it 'refuels' so to speak

this is my review of the thread so far and my two cents on it
zelda: super buff from melee. side special is now super useful. definately highER tier than in melee fox: still the same old guy as from melee. don't mistake a change in physics engine as a character nerf, his up smash can still KO nicely. toon link: my personal main as of now. best projectile metagame in the game. quick combos, smashes, good power. snake wicked power, triple attack has KO ability. some moves are somewhat unpractical. meta knight crazy attack speed. can d smash directly out of rapid attack. good recovery wolf attacks come out quick. wicked range on f smash though its too often spammed. haven't found him overly good at combos pikachu super buff from melee. D smash owns. d special has less lag. no nerfs to speak of. samus unchanged from melee. bombs suck now though. recovery nerf with them. sonic..gets my vote for worst character in the game... super fast and can combo but has only ONE reliable ko move... haven't found a good metagame with him yet king dedede super power, ok combos... terrible recovery diddy kong awesome character. only lacks good projectiles ZS-samus i've spent countless hours trying to make her awesome... she lacks a mid range game. get someone in the air and she combo's with the best of them but the ground game is hit and miss Ike super strong, good combos... but like D3 lacks a good recovery Sheik nerfed from melee. in my opinion no longer high tier. she lost her KO moves Pit most spammable projectile in the game. good combo's good recovery pretty good KO Marth slightly nerfed from melee and hurt by the loss of the shffl but still amazing and overpowering. lacks recovery now though ROB good ko ability and interesting combos. but if combo'd he's super easily gimped.
my personal addition is game and watch, my second main and got some nice buffs from melee. most importantly b air

^ exTREMELY complex character... if you can manage your pikmen well you can own... the hardest character to space for sure... you gotta know the color of the first pikmen to know how far ANY move will travel... i suck with him... but he's incredibly interesting

I ask you to reconsider your opinion of Sonic. I've been using him a lot more recently, about as much as I use my Wolf, and I've found myself liking his playing style, mostly how easy it is to hit-and-run and to push opponents from the stage.
Also, Wolf can pull of some wonderful combos in the early moments of the game, before all his attacks start sending them flying, at which point it's better to KO anyways.
And zero suit samus also has good game in the ground. It's easy to move them from one side of the stage to the other with a combination of standard moves and the blaster/dsmash.
Pikmin 3 was announced by Miyamoto, by the way. (After E3. I can't ****ing wait.)
Anyways, Olimar is the most annoying, cheapest bastard, taking seat alongside Zelda, Pit, Pikachu, Ice Climbers, and G&W (Although G&W isn't THAT bad. BUT WHY DOESNT HE LAG AFTER THE KEY? HE GOES DIRECTLY INTO A SUPER FAST AND POWERFUL SMASH)
Sonic is good, just spam his Fair and you'll do a crapload of good combos. Hit and Run is awesome.
ZSS is clumsy in my opinion, but she can be used well.

Olimar is terrible, his Pikmin are the only reliable feature and they don't do much damage either and anyway, Sheik is hell cool!

R.O.B's standard attacks are far more powerful than most other characters. His jet packs allow him to get out of heaps of situations. Game and Watch is very slow and Zelda doesn't have enough powerful offensive moves and I'm not good at timing reflectors and shields and I'm pretty sure it's the same for others.
