Timing isn't an issue.. But Ganondorf runs very slowly, and doesn't jump anywhere near as high as in Melee. Makes it slightly more challenging (But in the end, more rewarding too!)

So back to Falco. Yes he's the most useful in my opinion. Though I liked his forward smash in Melee (Fox took it from him) his Brawl one works fine. His reflector has range unlike Fox's and his gun shoots a lot farther and faster than Wolf's. He tops them both in my opinion.

It's hard to decide on which Star Fox character is better, imo. Personally, I think Falco is the top of the three, but not by far. Fox is still a nuisance to fight against, and a good Wolf player can be hard to defeat.

Talking about Wolf, his side B meteor smash deserves a spot as most satisfying due to its complexity. I've only managed to do it once in competitive gameplay, and it was a very risky move.

Isn't using his Side B to spike someone whilst off the edge always a risky move? As far as I know you can't do it again even if you hit someone.

I've never been able to spike someone with Wolf's Side+B and kill them, and recover myself. Excluding stages with water, that is...

Just seems much too risky. I do it to them for a good damage and unpredictable move when there's ground below my feet afterwards though. And yes, Wolf's recovery is only good when he's in a perfect angle for his Side+B, or if he's directly below the ledge. Other than that, it's horrible.

Falco seems like the best Star Fox character. Fox is alright, but he doesn't have as much in his arsenal. Wolf has great ground game and good combo-aerials, but his aerials lack power. Falco is easily the most well rounded, as he can fight at range and up close, and is the best of the three at spacing himself.

note to all talking about spiking with star fox characters. toon link has the most satisfying spike move in the game in my opinion just my two cents

Nope, Link has no spike to speak of. Toon Links spike may be teh shiz, but its really REALLY dangerous to use. If you miss your facked.

^ CF avid meteor smasher? against CPU's maybe... but they're difficult to hit on people who know how to... hit back lol you gotta wait too long with his short hop to connect them. they have too much time to hit you first. it was easier in melee

well hats why i said it takes timing and skill. but i think falcon has decent ground attacks and good ariel. he is my main so i might be a little biased. he got hurt worst from melee but i can still work with him

Back in Melee it was ridiculously easy to do a backwards throw with Falcon, followed by a jump and a meteor smash for a quick easy kill. And the knee... the knee was great.

Falcon just ain't my style though. SHOWYADICK

The first time I got spiked by toon link, I was in shock. I didn't even know that thing spikes. I was like "Lol, free extra recovery distan- WTF" *plummets to death*. Lmfao.
