It is relatively satisfying when you do it to someone, but thats not what counts.
Please keep discussing only one character at a time, not two at once. Keep going with Falco

Satisfaction is what you're supposed to get from a game. But I've already discussed this with you.
Falco: Specials: Useful projectile, Fantasm (SideB) doubles as a spike and is generally just much better than Fox's, kicks his reflector which trips up enemies and is great for deflecting (durrr). His UpB is shorter than Fox's by a good amount, but he makes up for it with better jumps.
Ground game: Good range and power on forward smash, good forward tilt for interrupting, down tilt combos into aerials, up tilt is a multi-hit attack that combos into aerials as well, down smash is good for people rolling around you and has good power, up smash is a good vertical killer. Neutral combo is good for trapping.
Aerial game: Sex kick, multihit drill-like Fair with good knockback on last hit, Bair is a strong back kick, Dair is a meteor smash and a multihit attack, Uair is a good juggling move / vertical killer.
Extra: Highest first jump in the game
Is a blue bird.
All in all: Has more pros than the other star fox characters, and less cons.

Does it have anything to do with the Tier List? I'm sorry, the answer is no.
Good arguments. One thing I would like to add is that ALL Space Animals have bad recoveries, and Falco is no exception. Is HIYAAAAAAA is shorter than foxes yes, and his jumps won't make a difference if he is far enough out.

Wow, now I feel proud of being the only one sick enough to pull the side-B Wolf spike, and without dying.
Only thing more satisfying than that is spiking someone with Luigi's taunt.
But back on the topic of tiers...what's the opinion on G&W? I think he's a really awesome character this time.

Fox has a poor recovery?

Hmmm... Although the game is really balanced this time around, I think top tier may be Toon Link, Lucas, Ness, and Mr. Game and Watch. Some people say the Lucas is better than Ness, but Ness's moves are much more solid and punishing.

Really?
My top six would be [in no particular order] Fox, Falco, Wolf, Marth, Diddy, Pit. Very confident in that top tier, which, if you noticed, doesn't consist of any of the characters you mentioned.

The Space Animals are pretty good this time around, but I don't think any of them deserve top tier. As for Pit and Diddy...you may be right.
EDIT: And Marth relies on close range.

Because I'm confident that time will tell that these characters are the future of Brawl. That is, assuming that no game-changing techniques are discovered.
EDIT:
NONE of them? Interesting.

Well, maybe Wolf deserves top tier. Falco's not half bad either... Maybe you were right about the space animals. XD

Fox has a good recovery... not many people use mario to make caping his recovery a concern, and it has high enough priority to go through it's share of attacks. Combine it with his reflector stall in the air thing to throw off their timing. Also, the space animals are only forced to use their UpB to recover if they get knocked out well. They will have to get knocked out, then knocked out again before the touch the ground, or knocked out FAR to have to use their UpB. Normally the SideB is better.
Fox's recovery does indeed beat Falco's, though.

Question [mainly at Spiff]:
What do you think about Ike's Bair? It is ridiculously fast for its power. I swear I thought I must have accidentally used Marth instead of Ike the first time I used it...that is, until I saw how rape it was. Also, how good of a spike is his Dair? It, too, is rather fast and extremely effective against computers. Is it easy to jump cancel the spike effect?
I'm asking you because I haven't played with a human player for a long time and have yet to test how these moves work on decent opponents. All I know is that edge-guarding with these two moves is hella fun against computers.

Fox and Falco were high on the tier list in Melee.
