It, too, is rather fast and extremely effective against computers. Is it easy to jump cancel the spike effect?
I'm asking you because I haven't played with a human player for a long time and have yet to test how these moves work on decent opponents. All I know is that edge-guarding with these two moves is hella fun against computers.

haha both moves are amazing. I'm not much of an Ike user because of his recovery but I mained him for a time.
his B air is awesome for ledge guarding and comboing opponents that are off the ground. its not overly useful on grounded opponents. (oh how i miss the aerial entries of melee)
and his D air spikes well. its fast and strong. similar to ganon's if you ask me. and the beauty of d airs that don't shoot you down is amazing lol i only wish Ike has a decent recovery then i'd use him more

His Fire Fox thing and his dash thing each have relatively short distances.
I don't think Diddy is Top Tier. He has no ground kill moves to speak of, and thats a huge downside if your opponent knows how to stay on the ground. He has some kill moves he can use whilst in the air, but as I said that could be easily countered.
Fox, Falco, Wolf, and possibly Pit I can agree with. I mainly think you put Diddy and Pit up there just because they are easy spammer characters, but good players can counter that.

i main yoshi. his i'd put around fox's. you can't gimp his second jump because of his super armor. and you'd be surprised how often egg throw will save you haha
for bad i'd personally say Ike

You can easily stop Pit's Up B with one projectile. So... I wouldn't call his recovery greatness.

Its still greatness as it is fast enough to dodge them.

Pit's recovery is great because he never has to use his Up+B. Lmfao.
*Jump*
*Glide*
You're on the stage with 2 midair jumps and his UpB unused.

Its true, you can't deny Pit's recovery is the definition of recoverying. Easily making it back to the stage with jumps without even NEEDING the up b. That's when you know a character has a good recovery.
Fox's recovery, like in Melee, is still average. Especially if your a character with a counter.

I think marth has gotten even more effective at edge guarding than he was in melee (IS THAT... IS THAT POSSIBLE?!). His range has been boosted with his Sheild Stab, and his forward smash covers a good area. His counter works great for recoveries like fox's, too. And his aerials speak for themself.
Anyways, I've found the hardest characters to knock out are no doubt Charizard and Dedede. Dedede is heavy and can float and has good recovery, so he's covered from all sides. Charizard can glide (his glide may be slower... but he can still fly under the stage and come back the other side.), has another midair jump after his glide, and his up + b is good and gives super armor frames.

D3's up+B doesn't ledge grab though so it always leaves him open after a recovery. he is very heavy though... cant speak for charizard.. haven't ever faced a good one

You can cancel his up B in midair.
