Alright I just finished the updates, I'm honostly surprised at how many people play with Ike, then again is strength is umached... but so is his slowness anyone care to elaborate? Anyways other than that it's a good list, thought metta knight and toon link would be top though... no matter

Along with his power, Ike is accompanied by great recovery. Also his counter move and his side B (a very fast move) are great advantages for him.

Yeah I know 3 of them are clones, but oh well...Toon Link is my fanboy choice.

I like Ike (Even though he's not in my top 5) because even if he's slow, he can be really smooth to play if you get your timing right. Also, his tap-a combo is pretty quick and strong and his back aerial is speedy. I am still pretty bad with him which is why he didn't make my list, but I'm sure if I practiced with him more often I could kick some ass. Except for the fact that I'm really not that great at brawl anyway.

My favorite five characters (and by no means the best) are as follows:

5. Olimar
Wolf is my main, so naturally he's #1 for me. Marth was my main in Melee, so there's #2. The other three are just fun to play as.

1. Mario : Complete middle ground, he has no major strengths, but he also has no flaws because of this.
2. Snake : If used right you can set up traps, and strategies in advance, he's also got one of the best get back in the ring moves and smashes
3. Kirby : A great character to avoid combat, and enter combat. His super hammer if it lands is a great knock out move, along with his rock drop. His smash is BS strong.
4. Ike : If you are dumb enough not to avoid him you'll be knocked out easily. While he has weak jump moves, he makes up for it with some of the best knock out moves inside and outside the ring. An Ike player can hug the outer stage and deal serious ring out damage for anyone trying to get back in.
5. Jiggly Puff : Experts only character. If surrounded Jiggly can use an instant knock everyone out move. Few characters can do the insane damage Jiggly can do. The problem is Jiggly has to strategically line up this very risky move. If done correctly you can knock out 3 players at once. Her fatal flaw is most people will prefer anything other than some button mashing for strategy.

His horizontal recovery is helped by his across b at the right level. And his super armour frames give his up b a nice recovery touch to it as well.

Or does it need to be spelt out moreso for you?
