I usually main Marth, but am sometimes Metaknight or Samus. I always fight Ikes online and some of my friends always noob him up (AETHER!!! ) I would like to know who is a good char. to beat him with, because I have a hard time...
Oh yea, people that use snake are normally amazing, and I can hardly touch him. Everyone else I am ok with, any help would be appriceated

the key to defeating snake is to cripple his explosive game ya digg...

if ur really good, u can make his downA, DownB, and grenades work against him

i use diddy against him tho....... bananas used "wisely" can slip him up and make him kill himself.... or atleast set up ur offense for some nasty combos

watch that dash attack tho.....pretty high priority

as for Ike....

good projectile chars would make him easier.....

diddy can stop that sideB with bananas.....

Space Animals, especially Falco and Wolf

In Ike's case, you can use the blasters to stun him as he uses side B and aether...then he either keeps repeating it or dies, and you get the upper hand. Also, he sucks at getting close to people without Side B, in which case the blasters still beat him, and if he goes aerial, a standard aerial from either character is good enough to trap him in a combo.

As for snake, the blasters mess up his grenade game, reflectors mess up his missile if you use them well, and as for the mines, just keep a close watch on those and try to make him explode himself on them. As for recovery, you can easily spike him as he helplessly comes up with the cypher...you'll get hurt by the cypher, though, but it's minimal and worth it.

Just remember that even if you have a character that may counter them. You'll still be required to out-think your opponent too.

I would suggest using a speedy character that can attack Ike before he uses his Side Smash or B Attack. Some good choices are Falco, Fox, Zero Suit Samus or Pit. For Snake, I would suggest anyone who has a good counter-attack for projectiles.

Lol funny cuz those are both in my top 3 lolz.. well anyways, when im playing as ike i really hate a lucas or ness using pk thinder or pk fire. and for snake, just look at the grouind if you are facing them you will see a bomb usualy. then to hit him its usualy best for a ranged attack or maybe even (toon) Link's A-Down in air can get them. for the most part they are both slow so it would never hurt to go eith somebody like fox, that character is diferent... but i kinda got a diferent style then most snakes and ikes online just to have something up my sleeve i guess. but i hope it helps, idk because they dont all fight the same. i highly reccomend fox for both these for his fast, pretty strong and sneaky moves. Ike-somebody fast, predict his moves
Snake-Pit, that's who I use against him, reflecting moves work well. Don't give away that you are going to reflect his moves though.

snake-use mario, he can cape everything, fireballs(i believe) can destroy his down-b's, they're also good for screwing up his recovery.
