I personally think luigi is better. He has the amazing uppercut and is well balanced.

I dont think mario is bad though .

Luigi and Mario are WAY different i mean Tl/Link and Ganin/Falcon are close but mario and luigi are very very different.

Luigi is currently better though IMO

haha the previous two threads were started cuz of the 'clone war' but Mario and Luigi are.... not even close to clones haha but nonetheless... i play much better with mario... i still miss the doc and his pills but mario will suffice haha f air spikes for the win (not the best move out there but it looks awesome)

I pick Luigi. Even if mario's a safer character to use, he's not as versatile as Luigi, so it's hard for him to compete as well when you get to more advanced levels.

btw, they were almost exactly the same in the original ssb, but then they changed.

Luigi hands down. I don't use either but I have a more serious fight against luigi than against mario. I personally hate luigi in smash, they make him look so gay and crazy, but I admit he's better...the air game is insane, and the taunts really are better (Mario's new taunts are lame, sorry).
