My brother was telling me about that yesterday. Very unfortunate accident. I believe one of his team mates was trying to avoid hitting him so he jumped and his skate cut his neck.
that could have been part of it buy Jokinen his teamate was falling down in the corner and his legs came up and got him. hes in stable condition and responsive so he should end up ok.
theres a video of it. but i dont think you could say he was trying to avoid hitting zednik he was just going down. and it was just a complete accident.

Devils beat the Senators 3-2 in overtime! woo. it was a very good game. they play the Thrashers tommarow then the Senators again on Saturday. My schools hockey team got tickets to the game against the Thrashers so a bunch of my friends will be at that game.

That's cool. I was reading in the paper that the Canucks are interested in acquiring Mats Sundin (old news) and that during the off season the Canucks will have $9 Million US spending money as both Naslund's and Morrison's contract come to an end. However, I hope they resign Morrison as I see him as a great asset to the team. I'm uncertain about Naslund as he hasn't been performing too well.
Sharks need a puck-moving PP QB top-pairing defensman and a LW to play on Marleau's line (when he returns). In which case, I am hoping for Prospal and Boyle from the Lightning.
