Well, the Devils won (finally), after ANOTHER loss to the Rangers. 0-7. Sad.

A) they're still behind the Devils
B) even if they make the playoffs they're gonna lose first round
C) Devils FINALLY won a game.

yes the loss against the Rangers was terrible...and yet. so have all 7 of them. having the rangers for the last game of the season is both a good and bad thing.

bad because well hey 0-8 just isnt a good thing in any way shape or form. not to mention the Rangers would most likely then pass the Devils in standings.

but good because...if and ONLY IF the Devils beat the Rangers on that final game AND happen to be playing them in the first round. then they can go in with the mentality OMFG WE FINALLY BEAT THEM!...however this also adds to the bad if they lose and play them in the first round. then game 1 would be extremely pivital.

4 more games to go! Devils have the islanders, rangers, flyers, and bruins left to play. going 2-2 in these games is not gonna cut it. devils NEED to beat either the Rangers or Islanders.

as for the Canucks. i want them to make the playoffs as the 8th seed. because i feel that they (because of Luongo) have the best chance of knocking out the Red Wings. (NOTE:in the first round)

If anyone missed it, I suggest on watching tonights hockey highlights from the Colorado vs Edmonton game. Jose Theodore made a very impressive save when he dove across his crease.

I saw that.....Freakin' sweet save. I'm actually wearing my Avs jersey right now, lol.

i saw the pens rangers game. gay ranger goal...oh well. im hoping scratch that...PRAYING that the Devils and Rangers dont play in the first round of the playoffs

I watched the game, but missed that goal. Dad told me Gomez almost hit it out of midair, which would have of course been a high sticking call.

By the way, Lundquist made a rediculous save. He jumps out of the crease, misses the puck, jumps back in and grabs it before it crosses the line. Wow.

I remember last year we tried to do a NHL playoff bracket contest, and it failed miserably.

If anyone wants to take up the responsibility for it this year I would be up for it. I just have WAY too much going on being the last 4 weeks of the semester.

The Canucks blew a 2-0 lead against the Av's..
We seem to be having some trouble this season getting it together...

However, I look forward to the upcoming summer season as there should be quite a bit of cap room for this team. Hopefully they will either trade or drop Jeff Cowan as he has no physical presence out on the ice and he too, like Jason King, turned out to be another "fluke".

What a huge week.

Tonight was awesome. Devils clinched a spot (knew they would. Good to see them in the playoffs), PENS CLINCHED THE DIVISION

!!!! And the West is starting to settle in.

I dunno if anyone happened to catch the Pens / Flyers game tonight, but it was such a good game. Both teams had something to play for, plus the rivalry just made it a really fun game to watch. Big hits, cheap shots, a few really nice goals, physical play......great hockey.

P.S. Scott Hartnell is a bitch. Plain an simple. He gets all these cheap shots on Crosby. Play was stopped, Crosby was on one knee, and Hartnell just comes by and cold clocks him right in the back of his head then skates away like a scared lil bitch. Later He puts ANOTHER cheap shop on Crosby. In the ensuing 5 on 3 Crosby scores from the point and gets his first point of the night. That'll shut him up. That just shows the great discipline .... Let your skill do the talking.

And we get to beat them on their home ice on Sunday!!!

i dont believe devils can get lower than 5th seed in the East. and if the rangers lose tonight. then they're locked at 4th. and i hope the rangers lose. because i dont want the devils facing them in the first round...
