Haha! Agreed. I never saw it, but a bunch of guys I went to high school with at the time saw it. They all stayed over at one guy's house that night, and the girls were at my house, and one of them thought it'd be funny to call them and make various Ring-ish noises and comments over the phone. Apparently the guys were all 'We know it's you! > ' but then someone sat on the remote, and turned the TV on, and it was all staticy, and apparently they all huddled together in one blanket for the rest of the night. Which was a fairly hilarious image.
But it means I will never, ever watch that movie. >_>

Last Tango in Paris
Weird and disturbing. But if you have a thing for foreign films, you'll appreciate the style more.

Tango... Paris... is it Spanish or French? Is it anything like Amelie? That's a very weird foreign film, but phenomenally good.

It's an old art-house film starring a young Marlon Brando. Much of the dialog is in French (takes place in Paris) but there's some English mixed in.
To understand the "tango" bit, you need to watch the movie. With a very open mind, I might add. Like other art-house films, the themes and points are not spoon-fed to you off a silver platter like Hollywood does. It's a complex movie that prompts much discussion (and debate, and controversy... since the cast and crew were brought to court for making it and it was originally rated X).
Many people will not be able to sit through it, as it will make them too awkward.

Ooh, sounds interesting. I love movies that give their audiences credit for not being stupid -- I never was one much for being spoonfed. Thanks for the mini-review, sremick.

There's a fair amount of sex and hardcore sexual-dialog. It is not, however, a film meant to excite the audience. The sexual stuff isn't gratuitous and plays a role in outlining the characters' conditions. The two lead characters each have messed-up situations in their lives and are drawn to each other for different reasons, each fulfilling a need in the other. The twisted sexual stuff is a side-effect of this, and you are supposed to be awkward.
If you can get through the awkwardness and look at it subjectively, you might understand what's actually going on. I'll confess though that most people will start off by being confused and not understanding what's going on, then bored by the pace of the film, and finally disgusted and not want to watch it anymore.
A side of Marlon Brando you've probably never seen before, but actually one of his most-famous roles (second only to the Godfather, perhaps?).

From what I read, it could have been the satellite or the monster. The satellite was owned by the company that \"guy\" was going to go work for. When they went to try and recover the satellite, the monster awoke from its sleep. The monster grew from the drink Slusho as well. The company Slusho would dump their supply into the ocean and this monster would drink or eat it which in due time, made him grow.
Thats what I read about it, but there are many theories about it as well.

I would never watch it again. Definitely.
It is epic as epic gets.

I saw Michael Clayton yesterday night, and I would give it 7/10.
If you are into action films, do not watch this movie. It is SO confusing, you will only understand at the end, because at the start they play the ending of the movie then they say "Four Days Earlier" and they go back to what caused the ending and I just got so confused. There was pretty much no action, this movie is 100% suspense. Although, the plot was really creative and smart. That's all.

Yeah. That movie is not meant for action at all. Though I understood it and think that it is a superb movie.
Iron Man seems good from your review ssbb_lover. Hopefully I'll be able to see it either today or tomorrow.

Iron man, 10/10, but I'm not sure how much of that is the movie and how much is the Geek Squad swarm that I got to the movie in.
