I've been a Packers fan my whole life as well. Ryan Grant is a stud, he will get better as his career progresses. Watching him play makes me forget about Ahman Green a little more each time, though he was a workhorse when he played for them. Call me crazy, but I think Grant will be the x-factor in this game.
I also think the key match up will be Al Harris against T.O.
Owens has good numbers, but Green Bay has the best CB tandem in the NFL (yes, better than Champ Baily & Dre Bly & I'm not just saying that out of bias) In Al Harris & Charles Woodson.
I can't wait for thursday. I don't have NFLN either, but I'll probably go to a friend's house or try to find a live stream on the internet. I'll let you know if I find one!!!

Luckily I have NFLN and I definitely will be watching that game.
I agree Grant has stepped up, and to be honest I've never liked Green, and thought he was overrated.
I hope Favre mops up the Cowboys secondary, nearly 400 yards passing last week, I'm loving the way he is playing.

One of my friends from a football board was kind enough to try to help people like me (or at least their chances) on being able to find a live stream on the Packers/Cowboys game...

This is a POSSIBLE alternative if you do not have NFL Network or don't live in areas that get the game other ways. No guarantees the game will be showed on this, but I'd say it's a pretty good chance.
1. Download SopCast here at http://www.sopcast.org/download/
2. Open SopCast, and in the sports section (around gametime, won't be available now), look for an NFL Network channel or something with "Packers" "Cowboys" "NFL" or something similar in the title.
3. Double click and enjoy.
Usually it takes awhile to load, a minute or two, and then keeps skipping for another minute or so, and USUALLY it smooths out and you can watch the games almost flawlessly from your PC.

It is now certain that it will be streamed, so here's some more info...
http://myp2p.eu/broadcast.php?matchid=2786&part=sports
Once you've downloaded Sopcast, go to the link above & click play next to Sopcast for NFL Network.
Working pretty well for me, hope it does for you!!!
But NOOOO CHARLES WOODSON & KGB ARE OUT FOR TONIGHT!!!
EDIT: By the way it will take a few minutes to load completely, and a couple more to run completely smooth. So don't freak out if it isn't playing great right away.

wow, really sucks that its being transmitted only through the nfl netwrok, i live in canada , so its different then in the usa, we have a channel called TSN, which is the canadian version of espn, and they are transmitting the game........such a shame that such a game wont be viewed by millions....

I'm watching the Packers vs. Cowboys and by the way Roy Williams went to my same high school! I don't think I told anyone this but it's true he went to James Logan High School. My teacher told me I was sitting in his desk lol. And my football coach told me I was wearing the same pads he had on! So cool!

Haha, I was hoping Favre would whoop on em, but he got hurt early. Rodgers did a decent job, but Romo played well. T.O. had a few key drops one that should have been for a touchdown which he muffed into an interception.

Ahh, Favre was off all the way until he got hurt. Rodgers did a pretty good job, Grant had a great game (94 yards, 2 TD). I saw 2 BS calls on the Packers, but the one big mistake was leaving Crayton wide open on 4th & long (or was it 3rd & long)?? Still though, Charles Woodson, KGB & Aaron Rouse being in the game could have made a difference...

I was impressed by how well Tomlinson ran all over the Chiefs today. 177 yards two tds. Rivers only made one mistake, and didn't get many passes to Gates. 24-10 Chargers.
Buffalo and Washington went down to the wire with the Bills winning 17-16.
Colts beat the Jaguars 28-25, pretty much guaranteeing they make the playoffs.
Jets proved no matter how terrible they are, they're still better than the Dolphins 41-13.
Seahawks hung on to beat the Eagles, Feely continues to play well, just can't get it done 28-24.
Panthers beat up on the 49ers 31-14.
Titans beat the Texans 28-20.
Vikings beat the heck out of the Lions 42-10, making my case for them being a sleeper team.
Falcons are on the verge of losing to the Rams 28-16.
