I didn't find out until late last night that he had "retired" Mark Schlereth from NFL live said that he didn't believe for a second that Favre is going to stay retired. I hope he changes his mind, he's one of the most entertaining quarter-backs to watch, and after the season he had I can't see him leaving when he still has the capability to take his team to a Championship.

Also, Javon Walker agreed to a 6 year/$55 million contract with the Raiders today.

Well the Draft is comin up and before that even starts there have been some moves..

First with Pacman Jones being traded to the Cowboys

And a huge trade so far Jared Allen from the Chiefs has been traded to the Vikings for the 1st round pick (17th overall)

I think this is huge for the Vikings, they get last years sack leader and now offically make that d-line SOILD. But they still havent adressed the quaterback issue and i feel this will kick them in the ass later.

The Jared Allen trade is definitely a good move IMO for the Vikings, they give up their 1st and both 3rd round picks for him and I guess they swapped picks in the 6th round as well. I do agree with you on the fact that their quarterback situation is not promising.

What are your opinions on the Dolphins already signing Jake Long to a deal before the draft? I personally kind of like it, but my buddy didn't because "now there is so suspense" oh well. Also the Dolphins are trying to shop around Jason Taylor, which I think is stupid. They're trying to get another 1st round pick for him.

i dont think signing Jake Long was such a bad move as some think it was. You gotta start somewhere when u rebuild a team so why not start with an offensive line..it makes sense..some would say "no u need a QB" but think about it why have a top noch QB but no one to protect him, he wont be worth nothin. So i think it was the right move on the part of a rebuilding team.

Oh I like the pick, it's just I've never known for sure who the 1st pick of the draft would be, so it's just a new thing to me anyway.

That they did, but now the suspense is, what will the Rams do at #2? Are they taking Dorsey, are they taking the other Long, or are they trading it for more picks or established players? Not that I really care, because I very much dislike the Rams, but still it's the same type of suspense, just not the #1 pick.

i got a feeling this draft is gonna be filled with surprises, lots of trades. should be interesting

I'm a bit indifferent this year, Chargers don't have many picks, and there are no real superstars in this draft, so I'll probably watch the first round this weekend, but that's about it.
