^Yes, there used to be a ppv called 'King of the Ring'. I don't know why they changed it, but eventually it became a drawn-out, month-long process (probably to create more hype than just doing it in one night). And now we all know that they've thrown the whole thing in the trash and put it on a *~SPECIAL THREE HOUR EDITION OF RAW~* WOW, SO EXCITING
TOPIC STARTERS
~BEWARE, MANY SPOILERS~
1. The draft is coming up. What can we expect to happen?
2. Who can we expect to end Undertaker's sixth title reign?
3. Will SD! survive 2008? We desperately need draft picks!
1.
a. The lead creative director is pushing HARD for Trips to go to SD, but Trips has ALWAYS been heavily against this (knowing that it is the B show) and it remains highly unlikely.
b. Umaga is probably going to Smackdown.
c. Many think that Jericho hasn't matched the hype of his return. He could be headed to Smackdown.
d. Michelle McCool is probably going to RAW, after last week's confrontation with Pheonix (although no one cares about that xD).
OPINION: I personally think that they need to make BIG changes in this year's draft. I'm sick of the same old shit. SD! has been the 'Batista and Undertaker show' for way too long. Send Batista and Undertaker to RAW, and give SD! Triple H, Umaga and Jericho. This would do wonders for storylines, opening up so many different directions for them to move in.
2. He will be holding the belt past the draft, so it is highly dependant on that. However, if few big stars are changed up in the draft than I would greatly expect Big Show to do the job. It would be a good (and new) feud.
3. As already stated, SD!'s future is highly dependant on the draft. We've been beaten to death with Undertaker/Batista/Edge feuds and we need something new. Pulling ECW guys into SD! was a good idea, but they still need more starpower. Start pushing younger guys to the world title, such as Hardy and MVP, already!
