Well Zambrano, Dempster and no one else have been pretty solid. Time for Lilly, Hill and not Marquis to step up! Lol you know what was funny was that after Lieber we used back up plan Sean Marsahll then after a beating backup to the backup Sean Gallahger who took a beating. Ouch.
You know what player I'd like to get? Adam Dunn. He's inconsistent so far this season but he's usually a good player. Crappy Fielder, Below average Batting Average make people not like this guy. But it's really about how often he gets on base, which is usually significantly above average. So you get a guy that gets out way less often than the average hitter and a ton of power with some sb's surprisingly. He just doesn't get a hit as often as most. But again not getting out is more important. I want this guy to be on the CUBS lol put him in 2nd, why not? Or Roberts.
I'd actually rather have pitching but it's rare to have teams trade down for pitchers. Yes we have pitching depth. Lots of crappy pitchers.

Haha yea, I think Dunn would be a great bat to have on the bench, but his fielding is terrible, and he doesn't hit for avg. I think the Cubs struck gold with Fukodome, he has potential to be a hybrid of Matsui and Suzuki, average and power. Lilly had struggled, but Zambrano has been consistently effective, plus his bat is pretty damn good for a pitcher.

The Padres are starting to hit a little better, Kouzmanoff is starting to find his stroke and Iguchi is doing alright, I just need our rotation to get back on track, they're too good to be pitching this terribly.
