Nice prank though. It might have been a nice movie too, if only the person playing Link actually looked like Link.

It was "meh" quailty more time and effort would make it look better. The guy shouldn't of wore that hat, made him look like a prancing homosexual. I'm half and half on the joke thing, they made Hitman into a movie why not everyone's favorite little green knight? But if the movie actualy does come out and it has this quality of effects and acting etc. I'm probably not going to watch it.

Who cares if actors are not known? I prefer that over known ones as long as they are good and look like the real characters.

I'm about 80% for joke, 20% for real. The actors suck, but I think it is a little too ellaborate to be a joke. Making that short little segment probably wasn't cheap and took alot of time...

Well, you know there is a movie about Zelda but it's very low budget and I doubt it's any good; that's probably the movie you're talking about in IMDB...This trailer is probably alot better than that whole movie.

Despite the joke, I like the idea of Camden Toy being in it. He's great. It'd be awesome to see him in something though where he wasn't under six layers of prosthetics and makeup. Oh Buffy, you had such good monsters toward the end there.

I liked the look of the Link. Sure he doesn't look six, like he does in the games, but it'd be kinda hard to dress a six-year-old in that getup and get him to swing at the bosses... The whole April Fools' Day thing aside, I wouldn't be surprised if they did eventually put a Zelda movie into production, just because of the fan base. Admit it, you'd go see it. And so would every other gamer on the planet. Even if it sucked, you'd still have to see it. Amirite?

Speculation: The trailer did look a bit too "costly" to be a joke. I have no doubt they meant it as a joke, but i do think that they are making a movie.

Theory: Possibly, they released the trailer on April Fool's Day and played it off as a joke to make people think "what if?", which is the exact response of this post. It has raised ideas in many peoples craniums, and has the world in awe at the thought of having a Zelda movie. I beleive this is an actual trailer, made off as a joke, and used to "raise hype" for when the actual movie comes out in the future...

Statement: If this truly truly is a sham, it will dissapoint fans worldwide. Either way, they shall now be "forced" to make a movie, either for the reason that it was their initial intention, or that they are being pressured by fans. Either way, the Zelda series is coming to an end.
