I agree. U2 is my FAVORITE band hands down. I guess I just like the message in almost all of their songs, combined with the talents of the musicians.

YES! Thank you. I absolutely love how deep their lyrics are. Plus, Bono is a super humanitarian...even though he gets crap for it all the time. How can you beat that? Plus, seeing them live was the most EPIC experience I have ever....experienced. lol.

Those of you who have defied Punk Rock shalt burneth in thy ever lasting pit of the underworld. Cept Green Day. Defy them all you wish. They're the kind of band you like for a few weeks and then you wish they'd cut their vocal cords out. The shreiks of a small girl(and/or ten year old boy) are much more appealing than anything I've listed above.

I totally agree with your post there, ARav. Don't you remember the good old days when the Disney channel and Nickelodeon ONLY contained quality cartoons? Not this ear splitting sound they excuse for "music". I sure am glad I grew up when I did. The era of Rugrats, Doug, GOOD Disney channel movies, music videos only on MTV. Sigh. Nostalgia coming on.

Green Day's music is good (more of their old stuff) it's just this music killing country America what made them over played. It's going to happen to The Fratellis I can feel it, it's going to be a real shame. The Fratellis have got a fresh new style thats going to be over used in the next 5 years.

Sorry but I think they are over rated and I commend U2 for all their charity work but come on..I just can not stand Bono's voice and I think Coldplay sounds a little like U2 . and any band(coldplay) that says they are "bigger than the beatles" seriously...step off the high horse. I cockiness in bands including the Killers. They do the same thing!
