They did make a Super Mario Bros. show, and a Legend of Zelda one. There was a Mario film too, which was horrible.
Anyway, films of video games always end up being crap, and the characters in those games are all 'flat' characters with no personalty (meaning the writers have to take artistic liberties to keep them interesting, but usually they end up going wrong).

I think it would be cool to see a Metroid movie. But like what was mentioned before, it ends up being crap. I never really seen one good show/movie that dealt with a Nintendo character.

I think Zelda would make a good movie. Did you guys see the fake IGN trailer? I have to stress that this is FAKE. Apparently some people still believe it's real. Anyway, depsite being a little gaudy in a few places, I think it proves that a Zelda movie could work, given the right director. And the right casting -- Link needs to be a little younger and skinnier, I think. He always looked shrimpy to me.

Well, they optioned Metroid for a movie, but nothing ever came of it. If you google Metroid movie and go to the news, it'll come up. There's lots of rumors, but it's pretty certainly not happening now, or anytime in the immediate future.
