At least in Naruto, they didn't change any names. I mean, imagine it getting so bad that the Japanese's version of someone's name is "Tokatashi Makasoto" (i'm just trying to think of a Japanese name >.>) and the dubbed version turned it into "Sarah McKinley" or some crap name (i'm sry if that's your name! ). That just makes me.....

Names are ofthen changed becuase amricain voice acters cant say jap names

not to mention that it was aired in the US as a kids show, although I wouldnt object to my kids learning foreign accents and pronunciation.

Okay all this time Ive been pronouncing Naruto as just Nah-reh-toe, but everytime I hear people talk of it they pronounce it Nah-roo-toh... sorry but I always think of some kind of Mac&Cheese dish when I hear em say this.
