Problem connecting to multiplayer

I just bought Call of Duty: Black Ops yesterday and I think its a pretty cool game. I finished single player mode today and I'm trying to connect to multiplayer to see what that's like but when I'm at the Nintendo WFC screen and I click "Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection", it just says "Please Wait" and doesn't do anything else. Is there a way that I can fix this problem?

go to your profile and change your name into another name then go online and it should work. if it says cannot connect to black ops servers then turn off your wii and try again. it takes some time to login cuz to many ppl are trying to login at the same time which creates an error.
