Graffiti is fine, just keep it on paper. Or trainers in your case.
When it is one other people's property, it's classed as vandalism.
Not everyone is crazy enough to want scribbles all over their property. If it's your property, then do it as much as you like.

I have a problem with graffiti when it doesn't look professional at all, or when it's carved into plastic on bus stops. But, also, if it's someone else's property you might want to get permission before you express yourself all over their walls.
It just makes the street ugly if it's not professional.
