True but there are so many different thing u can do in photoshop that there cant be psd's for all of them, haven't u ever looked at someone's signature/avatar and go, "WTF? how'd they do that?". I know i have.Originally Posted by Close
Okay I have my background on a sig, but each time I try to put my render onto my sig it goes sorta see through when I use linear dodge or any of the others, parts of the backgroud show through my render.

Only problem I can see with this thread is the various techniques and what not being posted throughout causing a ton of clutter and being unfriendly to users. But, it can't harm anything, so why not?

You don't need to, don't have your render on any other blending mode except "Normal"
If you really really want to use it though just ctrl + left click on your render layer in the layers pallet, and on the background layer hold alt and press backspace and colour in the area selected in the render shape a single colour like black or white
