    Gimp is confusing me!!!

    ok, so i downloaded gimp 2.4.4 and am completely at a loss as to how to use it. can anyone PLEASE help me by giving me instructions?

    I just downloaded it last night, no idea what I was doing, but I was bored so I made my current sig. I think I'll be putting it some more time and effort so I can possibly get a decent looking sig, without bothering anyone to do it for me.

    I put some more time into it and figured out a few things on Gimp, and I think my updated sig looks decent considering I really haven't done anything like this before.
