peppers used to be really good until they went commercial, which is when most ppl started to like them and i began to hate them.

Huh? When did the Chili Peppers go commercial? As Lee said they are the same band they were in 83' and are still making great music. I have never heard a Chili Pepper song in a car ad or a fast food ad like so many other artist do. I think you are confusing commercialism with superstardom. In 2003 The Chili Peppers were voted Best Act In The World Today. I think that speaks for itself.

ok lets say when they became mainstream not commercial. you have to be deaf not to notice how different the peppers are now from the early years. they are far less aggresive and more pop'y.

Anyway, I have liked all their songs from '83 to now. They have changed but they are older and more mature now. In my opinion, the chili peppers deserve mainstream success, they have made it through tough times such as heroin addiction and the death of Hillell slovak.

theres nothing wrong with mainstream success except in this case its changed their musical direction. they are very talented musicians. flea is a bass god.

I do agree, stadium arcadium is a very fine album, its got a mix of a few types of music such as 1 song features funk-rap (yay old school!) etc

they have gone downhill since the 80s, dont like them much now.
