Best "Mob" Film

You know those movies with Mafias, and mobs, gangs, etc. Which one do you think is the best? Like Scarface. Tony Montana just another Cuban refugee in Miami, or so we think until he takes the city for his own. Or The Godfather, maybe Good Fellas? Even Menace 2 Society classifies as one.. But I myself think Scarface is the best, it's got enough dialogue and action. Not to mention it keeps you into it, you really don't want to go for a bag of chips or get a drink of Coke 'cause you don't want to miss what happens next.

Well Scarface isnt a Mafia movie. Its basically like you said a cuban refugee who becomes a coke lord. Yes you can consider a "gang" flick but not Mafia.

For me the best Mafia movie would have to be Casino. Although watching it in real life is the best ....Sammy "the bull" Gravano lived right around the block from me while i was growing up.

I'd have to say my favourite gangster film is City of God, but if we're speaking strictly 'Mafia' films then I'll go with Goodfellas.

Easily the Godfather. Goodfellas and Casino were all great films, but had nothing on the Godfather. I am also quite partial to Donnie Brasco - yes it's nowhere near the likes of other movies mentioned here, but I still very much enjoy the Johnny Depp and Al Pacino.

Goodfellas, by far. Godfather is good, but I much prefer Goodfellas. It's based on a true story, has a number of brutal deaths, and doesn't have a shitty sequel. It really gives you an in-depth look at mob life in the modern era, and how they did things.

Close call between The Godfather and Goodfellas... I'll say the Godfather however Godfellas is close behind.
