The latest edition in the ever-popular Cabela’s popular hunting series for the Wii, Cabela’s Big Game Hunter 2012, is in stores from today. It features a large expanse of diverse terrain, plenty of great gear and the wildest animals yet, and also comes bundled with the Top Shot Elite peripheral to deliver an even more realistic experience.
The game features more choice than ever before, as player’s decisions affect every hunt as they choose their path, exploring the different environments. For example, they can choose to climb up high to get a better view, but leaving themselves more exposed, or take a lower elevation with poorer visibility but more cover. Fans will also see that the animals are the most realistic ever to feature in a Cabela’s game, with each animal’s unique movement giving clues about what they’ll do next. It’s almost as if they can see, hear and smell you! And as ever, the game offers some of the best hunting rifles and shotguns available, as well as the opportunity to purchase upgrades that result in visible strengths and weaknesses for each situation. But as good as the gear is, you’ll still have to master advance shooting techniques such as accounting for wind direction and bullet drop. In order to be a true top hunter.“Activision and Cabela’s have come together again to bring players the finest virtual hunting experience,” said David Oxford, Executive Vice President of Activision Publishing. “We hope hunting and gaming fans alike will enjoy the finer details we put into the game like realistic animal behaviors and the unprecedented choices in direction never before seen in a Cabela’s hunting game.”
The game is available either bundled with the Top Shot Elite peripheral bundled, or as a standalone game pack. Happy hunting!
