Deep Silver has announced that it has signed a publishing agreement with Telltale to bring its episodic title Back to the Future: The Game to the Wii in Europe. Telltale are past-masters at making these revitalized versions of point-and-click adventure games, and Back to the Future: The Game is well up to their usual standard of excellence, so it will be interesting to see how Deep Silver develops it for the Wii. The game brings the iconic Marty McFly, Doc Brown and the DeLorean Time Machine all back together again in a totally new cinematic adventure that takes place six months after the events of the third film, when the DeLorean Time Machine mysteriously returns to Hill Valley and it’s up to Marty to save the day all over again by travelling back in time and enlisting the help of a reluctant teenage version of Emmett Brown. The game features the likenesses of the original stars that made the characters of Marty McFly and Doc Brown so legendary, namely Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd, with Christopher Lloyd also lending his voice talents to the English version of the game. Look for it to hit the Wii sometime this quarter.
