Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment announced today that Batman: Arkham City Armored Edition for the Wii U has begun shipping to North American retailers today. The game was developed for Wii U by WB Games Montreal, and builds upon the critically acclaimed, award-winning action game of 2011. Batman: Arkham City Armored Edition brings gamers back to Arkham in spectacular fashion, complete with enhanced gameplay features for the Wii U and the Wii U GamePad. Boasting the same intense action and powerful storyline as the original, the game also includes all available downloadable content, as well as added gameplay elements developed exclusively for the Wii U.
The game will be available at launch for Wii U, on November 18.“The team at WB Games Montréal focused on developing new features for Batman: Arkham City Armored Edition in order to create an immersive gameplay experience on the Wii U and Wii U GamePad,” said Reid Schneider, Vice President and Executive Producer, WB Games Montréal. “Rocksteady made an outstanding game with Batman: Arkham City, so we believe Batman fans will be thrilled with the enhanced combat and new gameplay elements added on Wii U.”

Def one of the most looked forward to launch titles with the with U, picking this one up since I skipped the PC version in order to wait for it even.
