Namco Bandai has announced that it is bringing the DreamWorks Animation SKG animated film, The Croods, to Nintendo’s Wii U and Wii consoles next year. The game, which is currently under development by Torus Games, will be available in March 2013 in Europe, to tie in with the movie release in theatres. The movie is billed by Dreamworks as a prehistoric comedy adventure , and both The Croods: Prehistoric Party! game and the movie feature the loveable Croods family, namely Grug, Ugga, Eep, Thunk, Sandy, Gran and Guy. In the movie, the Croods discover a wondrous world, and it’s the same in the game too, as the characters embark on a crazy adventure through 30 party-style mini games, in incredible worlds filled with unique creatures. The game features up to four player multiplayer on both Wii U and Wii. You can always rely on DreamWorks to make a great movie, so hopefully the game will be a worthwhile spin off too!
