Zelda twilight princess Lake Hylia help

I have read about 3 dozen walkthrough's on this game and in Lake Hylia when I have to fight the big bug to get the final tear, they say after a few hits it will swim around in the water and then after a few attacks it will fall on its back, but I Have Hit It About 50 times and it does not swim in the water at all and does not fall on it's back. PLEASE HELP ANYONE I'M PLAYING ON A WII SYSTEM AND I AM STUCK HERE WITH THIS BIG BUG......THANKS

two or three hits and itll float in the water, then you jump on it and hold the b trigger and youre done. and you posted this in the entirely wrong section, way to make a first impression.

Hey man welcome to wiichat and enjoy your stay.
And regarding your problem: Keep attacking it normally until it falls down with its mid-section facing the sky. Then jump onto it, hold down the B button to create the dark zone around all its little legs or whatever they are and then release to hit them all at once. Thats the general tactic anyway. Goodluck.
