    Playing America Wii Games on Australian Nintendo Wii

    Howdy!

    My Nintendo Wii (Australian) does not recognise games I got gifted from the US. Is there anyway I can get them to work or do I need to ship them back?

    Welcome to WiiChat. I don't mean to sound harsh on your first three posts, but there is a rule here which prohibits double, triple or quadruple posting.
    Regarding your question:
    Your Wii console is PAL standard, so it will only play PAL games. The US Wii consoles are NTSC standard, so their games will not work on your Wii as the Wii consoles are region locked. The only way to get them to work is to mod your console, which I do not recommend.
