Hi I want to connect my wii to the internet

this is a great web site , I have read alot can you tell me if it is worth me connecting to the internet. can you play games with other people on the internet. I am a grandma that bought a Wii for herself first then I bought 2 more for my grandchildern from two different families. And we all enjoy it very much. I would like to try the internet first and see how it is. I have a wired router connection.I know I have to buy the lan adapter and 50 feet of patch cable. thanks for all the information

I say even with a wired router connection it is definetly worth it. The wii is basicly just any other ordinary game console (Well near Ordinary) without it. Being able to download classic games, surf the web, download new channels, check news and weather, send e-mail to other phones comps. or wiis, playing online games, etc,etc,etc.

So in shorter terms- yep definetly worth it.
