power turning on / problems

Hi I am wondering if anybody have had any issues with the wii console where you put the disc in start flashing blue after you have shut it off? How do I know for sure if it is shut off? The light displays orange does it matter if I keep the disc in or not? Thanks for any help.

No, it's just like putting a CD in your CD player (old fashion). Yah know? It doesn't do anything to the Wii. You're perfectly fine.

the disc thinge flashes blue becaus eu have a message or a mii sent to u.the orange light on the power nutton does not mean that its off it means that its in stand by mode. in stabd by mode it awaits formessages and some ther things such as an update on weather to come thee. the wii is only particular off when u press and hold the power button. dont listen to the guys above, theyre not teelin u straight foward
