Noob with a question

First off Hi everyone.
Story. Took my wii to Florida. Hooked it up and when i put the game in the screen just started to flip like the controller button was stuck.
Got it home and hook up friends wii and did the same thing ( friend did not bring his controllers). So know i have narrowed the proublem down to controllers i think.

Could it be a stuck sensor in both controllers from flying on the airplane?

Please help I need my wii
