    it seems both my controllers wont work at the same time, if trying to play doubles on mario kart only 1 will work & the other remote wont steer but the buttons work fine. very strange!

    Hmm, are both remotes connected to your Wii properly? Does the non-functioning remote display the blue LED when playing your Wii?

    yes the non fuctioning remote does display the blue lights. even the buttons work on it but when it come to turning it doesnt. changed the batterys too. all the problems started & that still hasnt fixed it.
