wii wont go on

My wii would not go on... no lights at all! We pulled the plugs for 2 hours and nothing happened. I would like to thank the post suggesting that I pull the battery out. OK... that tiny screw, to get it out; I used an eyeglass repair screwdriver. Thank you for that suggestion too! 3 attempts... and it did not work. Here is my contribution...I began to massage the battery, put it back in... AND IT WORKED! It took a few trys but it now works...Dont give up!
